We Support Oscar
Marcia White & Nancy Knape
Ogden City Councilwoman
We have worked with and watched Oscar Mata for a number of years. As a resident of Ogden, he has consistently given back and has supported our community. It is hard to build the bridges that separate our partisan divide, but Oscar has managed to do so. Oscar knows how to push for what he believes and has an internal compass of compassion and an understanding of being financially conventional. He will be a fierce advocate for education, healthcare, protection of public lands and the criminal justice system. This is why we support Oscar Mata for Utah House.

Oscar has been a behind-the-scenes get it done kind of guy. Hard-working, insightful and a huge resource of knowledge to the community in general and to government agencies. So excited to see him be in front of the camera now and using his incredible knowledge in a new way!
Oscar is an excellent candidate for the House of Representatives for District 8. He has an impressive resume of community service and working with members of both parties. I look forward to serving with Oscar in the Utah House. A vote for Oscar is a vote for a winner!

As physicians practicing in Weber County for the past thirty years, it is clear to us that access to universal healthcare is urgently required. The current CoVid pandemic only amplifies that need. Oscar Mata understands the needs of the people of Weber County and we have complete confidence that he will represent the residents of House District 8 with dignity. Furthermore he realizes the need for pragmatic solutions for the problems that his constituents face. We enthusiastically endorse Oscar Mata’s candidacy for House District 8.
